This month, I was able to clear out a few things from my collection (mentioned in post). I loved the products that I used for the remainder of the month. The MAC Ellie Goulding Halcyon Nights Palette was a great neutral quad. The mattes were really soft and blendable. The shimmer shade was a bit chunky and glittery but when used with Fix+ or another setting spray, gave a beautiful foiled finish. The only thing I didn’t use was the Cream Color Base. Just not my cup of tea.

Otherwise, I loved it. It’s staying in my collection. I also loved the Bare Minerals Quad in “The Truth”. Another discontinued item but such a great neutral quad. Whenever I used this, I love how my makeup turned out. I love the Bare Minerals eyeshadows in general so obviously, this one is staying in my collection. The from Physicians Formula was also another winner.

The contour shade is perfect for me. All of the shades are super pigmented when finger swatched but when applied with a brush and with a light hand, they aren’t too dark or pigmented and can be applied softly or be built up. I’m actually surprised that I like the lightest shade for setting my under eyes. Overall, a winner. For December, I chose the (from Holiday 2016) and the. The Wet N Wild Palette I chose on purpose instead of leaving it up to chance.

I really want to focus on my Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Palette which I’m trying to pan this year. Kunena mobile joomla download for mac. So I chose a palette that has all shimmer shades to compliment the matte tones in that palette.

I love the neutral tones in this palette as well as the green tones especially the blue/brown duo chrome. The textures are also super buttery and soft.

I think this will really help me use up more product in this month and get a bit closer to panning the palette by the end of the year. Fingers crossed. The Hourglass Palette was limited edition and is no longer available. However, Hourglass releases palettes like this or larger around the holidays every year. I love the Hourglass Blushes. While I normally go for a matte blush, the shimmer in these isn’t chunky or glittery and I don’t find that it accentuates texture on my skin. The colors are also so pretty and this palette in particular offers nice variety in tone.

I can’t believe this is the last One Month, Two Palette Challenge of the year! I’m thinking of switching things up a bit with how often I rotate through these palettes. Doing one per month, I could be doing this for YEARS to get through them all. I haven’t quite figured out the specifics but I’ll keep you updated.
