It gets sets within a call and once the call is finished it does not get 'unset'. This is a very basic error and should have been picked up by Unit/Integration testing. I do not have the time to waste doing this myself. Same problem macbookpro mid 2012, 10.95, latest skype version. No sleep once skype has been used for a call. I have to relaunch skype after every use, to have computer go in energy saving mode. Very serious bug. I have to admit I am also not very pleased about your latest moves, skype team! First you force to update a perfectly running system and than you provide me with a faulty version with serious shortcomings.

I have exactly the same issue and feel the same way. This needs fixing. There are plenty of other chat apps available that don't have the same problems or the same poor customer service attitude and I'll switch to one of those as Skype causes too many problems. If it ever gets resolved, I may come back.
