The MAC Viva Glam campaign is a well known initiative by MAC cosmetics uses proceeds from the sale of its products to help with HIV and AIDS awareness. Treatment, prevention and education of HIV and AIDS is something that MAC believes that everyone should have access to. In 2010, the celebrity faces that were attached to the campaign were Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper, however it has been announced that the faces of this year’s Viva Glam campaign will be none other than. Ricky Martin is the campaign’s third male spokesperson after Elton John in 2001 and Boy George in 2004.

Nicki has already produced a Pink Friday lipstick with MAC, joining the likes of Christina Aguilera, Fergie and Lil Kim as a spokeswoman for the campaign. The photographer for the campaign will be the extremely talented, but always controversial, David LaChapelle.
